students realizing the true power of Facebook, a recent survey conducted by Payvment shows that the use of Facebook ads allows businesses to see increased traffic.
"This data provides a quick snapshot of the current state of Facebook commerce and shows a robust and vibrant environment in which sellers are aggressively marketing their products through many different channels, driving sales for their products and bringing revenue and traffic back to Facebook," said Christian Taylor, founder and CEO of Payvment.
The survey showed Facebook ads are the top tool sellers use other than general Facebook marketing, with 39 percent of respondents claiming to have used Facebook ads to attract customers, and 70 percent of businesses saying they plan to use Facebook ads again.
The biggest challenge that sellers see is their small Facebook fan base, according to 72 percent of respondents to the survey.
According to All Facebook, some businesses are making key errors that could be affecting their business on Facebook, which include hiring young, inexperienced workers to run their social media initiative, worrying themselves with the Facebook Timeline and assuming Facebook is the same as other websites that feature many negative user reviews.
