Many professionals may view the end of the year as a time to slow their strategies and begin preparation for the year ahead. However,
business degree holders should spend the month of December ramping up sales, Ali Brown, a business mentor, told Portfolio.
As an advisor to female entrepreneurs, Brown earns about half of her yearly revenue during November and December, the news source reported.
"December is typically great," Brown told the news outlet. "Traditionally, we’re all programmed to think that we should slow down. We do a big push."
Brown said that the end of the year is a good time for her to target customers with her consulting services as people start to think about what they really want during the final days of the year, according to the news source. She added that individuals love starting the new year with the types of programs she offers.
For business degree holders who have finished school and are seeking employment, the end of the year is also an excellent time to continue their job search, according to CareerCast.com. While some may think that companies stop taking on new workers over the holidays, the job website states that hiring does not stop just because the calendar says December.
