If individuals have been away from school for some time, they may want to look into educational sessions that can prepare them for master of business administration degree (MBA) programs.
On September 10, Mississippi State University-Meridian (MSU-M) will hold a workshop of this nature for prospective business degree students, WTOK.com reported. Those who have an interest in this session have until August 26 to register for this event, which will last from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
According to the news source, the workshop will help individuals prepare for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
"Many times, people are interested in getting MBAs, but they are afraid of the exam," Natasha Randle, the assistant professor of management at MSU-M, told the news outlet. "And so that's sometimes a deterrent to pursuing an MBA, and we want to help people not be so afraid of the exam by talking about test-taking skills and going through the verbal and quantitative parts of the exam."
Not too long ago, on August 2, MSU-M held a similar session that covered topics such as MBA curricula, admission requirements and the GMAT.
