The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) recently announced that Star Jones, a lawyer and celebrity, is now serving as their National Spokesperson. The combination of Jones’ background in law and business as well as her past as a well-spoken TV personality makes her an excellent candidate for leading the NAPW’s public efforts.

Known for her coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial and long-time spot as a co-host on The View, Star Jones is a multifaceted professional. Before her first appearances on TV, Jones worked at Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York. As far as her education, Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at American University and attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center.

The NAPW is a networking organization committed to promoting the exchange of ideas and resources between professional women across the nation. On the NAPW website, Jones refers to the organization as "America’s largest and most powerful network for women."

As the new Spokesperson of NAPW, Jones will travel the country to meet different chapters and speak at meetings. If you’re interested in business education and networking, learn more about how the National Association of Professional Women can help you explore new opportunities.
